My exported dashboard doesn't connect to the PLC.
Check that the PLC IP address is correct and reachable from the browser's machine. The dashboard connects via WebSocket — verify that the PLC firmware's WebSocket server is running on the configured port. Open the browser console (F12) for connection error details.
How do I deploy to ESP32?
Make sure your ESP32 is running Voltrus PLC firmware and is on the same Wi-Fi network as your Mac. Click "Deploy to ESP32" in the toolbar, enter the ESP32 IP address, and the dashboard HTML will be uploaded over HTTP.
How do I set up the Raspberry Pi 5 agent?
Build the mt-hmi-agent binary for aarch64-unknown-linux-gnu and copy it to your Pi. Or use the install script: curl -sSL https://dl-voltrus-hmi.voltrus.id/agent/install.sh | bash. The agent listens on port 8080 by default.
My license key doesn't work.
Make sure you enter the full key including dashes. Check that you have an internet connection during first activation. After activation, the app works offline. If you still have trouble, contact support below.
I bought from the Mac App Store. Do I need a license key?
No. The Mac App Store version is automatically licensed through your Apple ID. No license key needed.
Can I customize widget colors or sizes?
Widget sizes are set by dragging resize handles in the designer. Colors and ranges are configured in the properties panel for each widget. The exported HTML uses standard CSS — you can also edit the file directly for advanced customization.
The app crashes or freezes.
Make sure you're running macOS 13 (Ventura) or later. If the issue persists, contact support with your macOS version, the app version, and what you were doing when it happened.
