Activation Steps

Get your license key

Check your email for the license key from Polar.sh. It will look like: VOLTRUS-GATEWAY-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

Download the binary

Download the static binary for your platform below — Linux, macOS, or Windows. One file, no installer, no runtime dependencies.

Activate your license

Export the key as an environment variable (or drop a license file beside the binary): export VOLTRUS_GATEWAY_LICENSE=VOLTRUS-GATEWAY-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. The gateway validates the key on startup — one step, done.

Start the gateway

Run ./voltrus-gateway. It opens its gRPC port and is ready to drive any PLC. Point your client at OpenSession and start reading tags.

One license = one host. Each license covers a single machine that runs the gateway binary — a workstation, a server, an edge box, or a VM. Deploy on as many hosts as you license.
